It's orchid season? Well, it seems that way with our beloved orchid. Mary is house-sitting for this great couple, and they have a gorgeous orchid!!
So...for the day...enjoy this gorgeous flower...amazing how it can be an ugly plant yet produce something so wonderful!
and kindly ignore the rust spots on the shutters...that's kinda what happens when you live on an island! :)

The Mary and Gerry team were out and about, scouting the best places for partying and bringing the new year in...was fun...a bit of rain didn't dampen our spirits, though it did our party clothes...but who's complaining?!
We wish everyone a great New Year...2009 will be AWESOME, and one of our resolutions is to update more often...:) hold us to that...we'll make the time to keep our reader informed! :) yes...we said reader...we know only one person looks at this blog...and that's fine... >;) ...the pressure isn't nearly as rough...now, if it were TWO people...goodness!

Ak'Bol

now...part of my job is running around checking out cool new places to hang out and meet new people. sometimes, that means visiting a new resort, setting up gerry's photo shoot, talking about the hopes of the owners, setting up gerry's photo shoot, figuring out what all amenities can be enjoyed in the smallest amount of time available, setting up gerry's photo shoot...and the list goes ON!
Ak'Bol is the first ever Yoga Retreat in San Pedro. It is beautiful, rustic and charming and luxurious in one. The yoga studios are cool, one over the water, the other surrounded by lilies! the bar, is cool, the food from the restaurant, delicious.
Gerry's favorite...the pool...why? cause it offered all these possibilities for photography. I will admit, even I got a bit into it...because, WHY NOT!!??!!

That lazy lug...guess who has to do ALL the work now?ah...yes...the many faces of mary and gerry!

And so...this past weekend, went as a blond..cause, you know, blonds have more fun and all that...SURE...uh-huh!
